Job Description | * THE OPPORTUNITY Spokane Corporate Housing is currently seeking a quality Hotel Sales Desk Associate for our three corporate housing communities located in Spokane, WA, US. The Spokane Corporate Housing team consists of team members that have a strong work ethic, are positive English communicators, are able to work within a team, and do the right thing when nobody is looking. This is a great opportunity for growth based on mutual strengths. EEOC. Base Salary: This is an independent contractor position and will be paid monthly after the first of each month. Starting pay will be a base 12,619 pesos/month with merit increases anticipated and will be calculated based upon a 40-hour work week. 3000 pesos/month attendance bonus available for good attendance. 2 shifts available: 8:30am to 5:30pm with Saturday/Sunday off or 3:30pm to 12:30pm with Wednesday/Thursday off, US pacific standard time. Commission Structure: Payable beginning of the next month pay period, you will receive an additional 11,748 pesos in your paycheck per month provided the following occurs: Overall monthly occupancy of 45% for the properties under the Company’s management structure Most months Sales Desk Associates meet bonus and attendance requirement and are paid around 24,367 pesos monthly. *JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Essential duties include but are not limited to: Via telephone and email, maintain positive resident relations by resolving resident issues, book and lease rooms, and manage electronic inventory. Record and update details of resident bookings into computer software, respond to guest’s text messages, and send marketing emails. Monitor booking email and respond to guest’s internal and non-public booking matters via telephone and electronically while continually pursuing the goal of closing the sale. Check-in and out of guests and capture guest payment authorizations Ensure property management software automatically sends out correct text messages and emails to our guests. Weekly, compare competitor rates and update company rates to match in addition to other administrative duties. Post to online sources such as facebook and respond to internal guest questions and texts. Other duties as assigned *EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS College or vocational graduate and processing of reservations with preferred certification of formal hotel training, reservation experience, or equivalent experience.
